IAM National 401(k) Plan
Contributing Employers to the IAM National 401(k) Plan must use E-Remit for reporting employee deferrals. (Such deposits must be made on the earliest date on which the deducted amounts can be reasonably segregated from the employer's general assets, but in no event later than the 7th business day following the date of the payment to the employee from which the deductions are made.)
The new online ACH payment feature of E-Remit is powered by SunTrust Bank and can be used by all 401(k) Plan participating employers in lieu of sending checks to the Fund’s lockbox. 401(k) Plan participating employers who wish to continue sending payments to the Fund’s lockbox may download the 401(k) remittance transmittal form here (PDF).
What is E-Remit?
E-Remit is an on-line reporting system which replaced the prior online Remittance Report System beginning April 2, 2012.
E-Remit now includes a secure on-line payment feature. Look for the "Pay Now" button on the confirmation page after uploading your file.
To Obtain E-Remit Log-in Credentials
Please e-mail by clicking here and reference "E-Remit System" as the subject and include the following information in the body of your e-mail:
- Employer Code(s)
- Name of Contact Person
- Contact phone number and/or e-mail address
